In this assignments, students solve the same one problem using four different fields of mathematics to show how they are connected: algebra, geometry, linear algebra and functions.
Notes and Insights
This activity can be done in Precalculus too in the section on matrices. It is simple and straightforward, except that some students (in Precalculus) may need a little refresher and clarification about the methods to be used.
