Cartesian Product
Summary of Activity
This activity is an introduction to the Cartesian product, where students learn the concept by studying examples and non-examples of elements.
Notes and Insights
It is a simplified version of the Frayer Model.
Each student will come up with examples and non-examples of their own, and it’s worth giving everybody a chance to pitch in. Some non-examples may be quite creative.
