HiFi-Berry OpenHome

I’ve been looking for a while for a replacement to my squeeze-based digital home music system. Of course there is Sonos out there, but there are quite a few features I wish for that aren’t met by a proprietary system (also one of the reasons to leave squeeze-server and co).

After playing around with my Raspberry Pi for some years, I realised there was a solution with many cool features out there, not the least being “Linn-compatible”. (For curious people, google Open Media Server). The software part is not the biggest challenge, the hardware assembly for a home-useable device is the main issue. So here is what I was able to reach, for now… the project goes on in 2016.
